The battery-powered unit operates on 4 D-cell batteries (not included), and some models include a collar key that uses a PetSafe RFA-67 battery. With user-defined access settings, you can set access per collar tag or switch to fully locked or unlocked modes. With a large flap for pets weighing up to 100 pounds, this space-saving design is easy to install into standard paneled, wood, metal, or PVC doors 1½–2 inches thick. For wall installations, the wall conversion kit is available and recommended.
