Veterinary Formula Flea and Tick Shampoo is formulated with Pyrethrum, a natural insecticide, to immediately kill and control fleas and ticks. Made with Aloe Vera and Lanolin, it soothes irritations from flea and tick bites, while also gently cleansing and exfoliating your pet’s skin and coat. Pyrethrum, made from a flower, is the active ingredient in our 16 oz. bottle of Flea and Tick Dog and Cat Shampoo. Pet parents should look for droppings/flea dirt in the dog’s coat, allergic dermatitis, excessive scratching, licking or biting at skin, hair loss, tapeworms, and pale gums from flea and tick bites. This Flea and Tick Shampoo is paraben and soap-free. It contains no harsh soaps or damaging detergents, only naturally derived cleansers that are pH balanced for your pet’s skin. For best results, follow the instructions on the product packaging carefully. Wear rubber gloves when applying Flea and Tick Shampoo for dogs and cats. When shampooing your dog, avoid eyes. Use a cloth or sponge to shampoo around your dog’s eyes. Thoroughly wet the entire coat with warm water and then apply enough shampoo to make a lather and work thoroughly into the coat. For maximum control, allow the lather to remain in contact with the skin for five to ten minutes before rinsing. Do not reapply the product for 7 days. Flea and Tick shampoo is safe for dogs, cats, ferrets, and horses 12 weeks and older. We know that your dogs and cats are more than just pets - they are part of the family - so Veterinary Formula Clinical Care develops premium products that pet parents can actually afford. Your pet will be free of fleas and ticks, smell great and have a soft, shiny, and lustrous coat – making you both happy and able to focus on more important things like treats, games, and snuggles.
